Our work and life are integrating like never before. We all need good tools to collaborate no matter where we are: home, office and on-the-go. Some people were taken good care of by professional IT engineers and enterprise equipment. Talents from startups, freelancers, small and medium business staff, live on Amazon and Google. Teleconference tools are hard to use, and even harder to get support. Sugr team are the same people. From 2017 to 2021, we worked with Acuity Brands in Chicago and Atlanta, we worked with iOttie in New York, we worked with Lavazza and Iveco in Italy, all remotely. We bought lots of tools.

Linna, one of our co-founders, always brought several devices for remote meetings: MacBook Air, speakerphone, Type-C hub and iPhone. Setting up those tools for every meeting is troublesome. In late 2021, we decided to build an integrated plug-and-play speakerphone for ourselves.

This is how we started. And it worked extremely well. We brought our business neighbours to try. They liked it too. As makers, we knew this meant something. So we started the HiDock journey.

It is an integrated device and it is one-of-a-kind. The speakerphone supports 5 meter crystal clear sound playback and loud crisp voice capture. Its noise reduction changes the industry leader with better performance. A voice recorder is built-in to ease FOMO. Type-C hub is almost a bonus which makes work from anywhere a reality.

All in all, HiDock is the best laptop companion for hybrid work.

We are a team always put design as priority. For HiDock we designed the patent pending ZeroOops panel to address meeting controls and privacy. With rounds of user research data from our business partners all around the world. One instant click to mute microphone, disable speaker, turn off screen extension and record meeting voice. These are all the top pain points of remote workers.

So here it is, the world’s first hybrid speakerphone. We cannot wait to share with all of you.

It will be launching on Kickstarter on December 6th, this is the launch page: Welcome to back us. Together we make hybrid work easy.
